What an amazing day we had!
Our day started with a whole school assembly followed by poetry workshops in class.
We created some amazing pieces which can all be found below:
Oak Class have based learning around the story Meerkat Mail and wrote a poem with Paul around the topic of desert creatures!
Chestnut Class have been learning about the Egyptians and wrote a Poem with Paul about mummification - a ceremony which they performed on a curriculum day with an Ancient Egyptian visitor!
Sycamore Class wrote a poem with Paul Cookson about what happens when the teacher leaves the room... though I can assure you this is a piece of fiction!
Mr Fretwell then taught Sycamore Class Paul Cookson's music on the Ukulele!
