Louise Ball

I am a Qualified Accountant with 20 years experience in finance, currently manage a team of 12 people for an Agricultural company. More importantly I am a mum of 2 children that attend the school.

I am a co-opted governor and form part of the Finance, pupils & personnel committee as well as the reading champion governor. I have a good knowledge of assessing financial data along with the ability to multitask.

I wanted to be a governor to help give back something to the school where my children attend and that I also attended as a child. Whilst my area of interest is the financial aspect of the school and the funding available, I am really privileged to be part of the Reading Champion, something that I love to see the children do and eager to help them to love reading and get lost in a good book. I also play an active role in the fundraising for the school and involving the wider community through this.

Kirsty Griffiths

Hello, I am Mrs Kirsty Griffiths and I am the Early Years Lead and SENDCo at Elkesley Primary and Nursery School. I have worked at the school for 6 years and have been a Governor since I started. I joined the Governing Body as I wanted to be part of a team of people who each bring their own unique take on life in school and work together to make everyday a successful one for our children. In my spare I enjoy spending time outdoors with my Husband and 3 year old daughter (the messier the better!) and all things crafty.

Committees: Finance, Pupils and Personnel.

Roles: Staff Governor
